But seriously get a awd or fwd car or build your 4cyl and turbo it. Lots cheaper.
Was just about to say...one of my friends put a 2jz in an old Lexus...i can't remember the model, they look like bloated old models of celicas, with 2 differnt sizes of headlights in the front? He put a 2jz in an automatic and it runs pretty damn good, haven't seen it run fast yet but it's his daily driver, he also has a white supra TT which he never drives...which is just

Ur talking about a Lexus SC 300, they are on the same platform as a supra so a 2jz is right at home in one. Not to mention a bad ass sleeper!!

He shoul be shot for not driving a TT Supra! Give it to mee ill show it the redline...

i KNOW! he's had offers up to 30 thousand for his white supra, it has like 25K on it and i've NEVER seen him drive it, he ran it at the track once and it ran a 12.8, but never drives it, it's SOOO nice, and yea, theres a few 1jz or 2jz sc 300's in my town that come through and spank the ricers every once in a while

Cool

See the thread https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/general-cobalt-68/2008-gm-engine-transmission-list-79937/
for a complete list of GM Powertrains.... http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en...2008/08car.htm

Something in the list should fit your "swap" capabilities and budget if you choose not to STAGE build.

why don't you just build up what you have? it would be a hell of a lot cheaper and it just makes more sence. i mean it would be kinda neat to see a 6 cylinder in a cobalt but then i would probably have to ask myself why. i mean you can make any 4 cylinder just as fast if not faster than a 6 or 8. just sayin..

forged innards on the 2.4 and then the hahn turbo kit and your set. adjust some wastegate settings or get a bigger utrbo down the line (new axles and tranny/motor mounts as well) and your making some serious power.

I Think a 3800 v6 with a turbo would be the Bees knees. there is so much fun stuff for that engine.
