Physically, the compound project is finished. The motor starts and I'm glad no leaks internally or externally.
the car is at BTF's house way up in the hill of upstate NY, and he has a mile of driveway filled with snow. No truck dares to plow the snow since its a very steep uphill with tons of zig zags.
That's why he will have to wait until the snow melts before he can drive the car down for dyno tuning.
currently only thing to be worked on are:
- feed line and filter for the 2nd fuel rail (port injection)
- meth injection system install
- wiring the extra pressure sensors to the gauges
I already talked to Norm's Fiberglass to create me a hardtop yesterday. He's finishing up with 40rty's unit, and he said about 2 more weeks, before he can start mine.
BTF, while waiting for the hardtop (ETA is 6 weeks from now)....will also start disassembling the interior.........and to fab a 10 point roll-cage.

that is still the goal.
but we'll see how the block holds, specifically the k1 rods.
Honestly, I will be very happy with a virtually lagless solid 600whp

we are going to make it fit.....welcome to fiberglass...... notched the quarters out more then likely because it will be easier then tryin remake the top in that section.
We will post some pics later.

Let's just say some things seem to not be changed from the solstice version...it fits pretty good in most spots but where the quarter meets the roof in one spot its like it was never made for the sky ......sent pics to norm and he said our chassis is waaay tweaked since the car was wrecked. Not the case.... The mold im sure is a way Off.

Illinois. I work for performance autowerks......Ill just be blunt about this. I don't care if your naturally an ******* and there's a way to talk to people. I haven't wronged you, haven't talked **** about you, havent done shitty business with you, so i really don't appreciate your commentary twords me nor the shop i work for. None the less even if i didnt work for werks then it's still the same. I havent done crap to you so the fact your come at me in a serious manner calling me a ****** and so forth over a car part is just rediculous.

Haz l33t wheelz.
Fortunato, he helps out at PAW, the car is not owned by him, he doesn't have any influence in the parts ordered from Norm for it. If you have questions like that, you'll have to ask Dave.

There should be no harm no foul no matter what the situation is. I dont control norms business and i dont control business at performance autowerks. Im just an employee. I dont handle the purchasing. Norm sponsors us. in all honesty if your going to continue to have an attitude with me i dont care if the top was ordered yesterday and i got it 10 years after you ordered yours if thats how your going to act and im sure as hell not going to help you one bit. I dont help people who treat me like a "******" when i have done nothing wrong.

It shouldn't even be a matter to take up with Dave (owner of Pwerks). The matter should be brought up with the builder. Your coming in here, running your mouth looking like an idiot over a car part. Call the builder, don't get butthurt because you haven't received something and they have.

LMAO.. the post I made before this one stated that I was joking with him. Now here we have the bandwagon of kids trying to defend him. Awwwww, get the fu.ck over it. I know my top is coming soon and I'm not worried. You kids I guess can't be joked with. That's fine. Moving on.....
Antonio how is BTF? How thick is the metal you using for the cage? I'm just doing a 4-point since that is all I need. Have you wondering where you'll mount the top to the cage yet?
