Dude...I can't wait until it starts up!! Did you use a pulley puller to get the crank pully off? Also did you get a mint with your pistons...I did.

My Situation: I'm waiting for my friends cherry picker, leveler, and stand. My motor is prepped already....Holy screaming eagle **** that wire harness is huge!! Also waiting for CPP.com to send my stuff. I ended up getting the stage 3+ but I thiink that is overkill. what do you think? Should I change it to the stage 2+? Please PM me the answer...I don't want to side-burst.

no have someone hold the belt onto the pulley and keep it tight then just take off the bolt the pulley will slide right off,

becareful with your oil squirters i fucked mine up

 

also the leveler is a must, you will have to finagle it to get it out,

This is a must pull the block and complete transmission otherwise youll just waste time and end up doing it anyway

hook the leveler upto the head and then remove 3 tranny mounts and the engine mount and all wires, then just pull it out

Oh, and you did reinstall the oil squirters right? I sure hope so.

I got 3 of them in fine the 4th was completely stripped out, a very knowlegable person told me just to plug it, and it would raise oil pressue 1-2lbs

so i plugged it

nothing else i could do, you cant get a helicoil for the size it was

 

also i have the cam just relaxing some before i go finish it up, and prepare myself for what is going to break next

 

You plugged an oil squirter? Do you think that was a good idea??

 

yah arent the oil squirters a major part of cooling

 

nothing i could do about it, the place i took my block said it shouldnt be a problem, and they are the best place in the midwest for engines

they build 1/2 mil drag motors, he said just get an oil pressure gauge and oil temp you should be fine

they timing is done just have to put valve cover back on and super
