Im selling my car not that I cant afford it, my income just more than doubled.... it doesnt fit my lifestyle anymore. This is honestly a pointless argument
wasn't bashing you bro i was simply stating that you were selling you car. i never said anything about not being able to afford it. it was a simple point. sorry to offend you.

I have to agree. If I were going to sell the car, I would definitely not have tried to build one of the most ambitious motors on the site. I think that this was a waste of time, money, and effort for a car that is just going to be put on sale.

Go ahead. Sell the car. It's your ride.

Obviously the build was a disappointment if he is selling right away after spending the time and money. The problem was he didnt know what he was doing, got someone involved who did a bad job and took his money, and now he is scared of how long it will last.

let this be a lesson to all of us. If your going to change things make sure the builder is truely qualified to do the job right. and dont be cheap in getting it done.

Despite what Badwrr6 says I have to agree with ssnipes. It is for this very reason I chose to have professionals do my car. I do what I do very well and I let others do what they do very well, instaed of pretending I can do it all. I am sorry that this build went sideways as badly as it did.

To do it right, is a hard thing...

i feel bad for him, he did try his best and put alot of work into the car, he probally lost a lot of money doing so, but alot of people can learn from him.

I like doing all the work myself and think i know quite abit more than the average person but there are quite a few things that i cant do because of lack of knowledge and dont have some tools required but we do need to learn somewhere, some of things i can't/haven't done... i am very intrested in learning more about. i love working on cars/trucks and one day i would like to have the knowledge and tools to do everything. i could afford to pay someone and sometimes i do if its a job i cant do but i like having that feeling of building a car/truck on your own....

Yeah, it's finished alright..

It's still a ticking bomb until the problems are addressed.

I can't imagine it won't take more then a day and about $400 to fix the oil squirter. Buy new gaskets, new piston since I won't trust the original after it might have swelled into the block, new ring, new squirter and 8-10 hrs of elbow grease. not a total loss yet.

re

That motor has no problems you guys honestly have no clue what you are talking about, sure you know cars. This is my car and I know it and FYI I have decided to keep it. I actually had an offer on the car from someone on this board...... I can tput a tag on the amount of hours I have put into it. So when the offer was made i realized i couldnt sell it end of story

Now stay the **** out of my thread if you intent to bash my work or ideas. My car is fine and that is the end of the story.
