Double check how the wires are on the starter. Actually pull them off and put them back on. Make sure the connectors on the postive and negative side are not touching each other at all! IIRC there are three, 1 POS+, 1 NEG-, and 1 GRND. Ensure your battery is charged, and it's all hooked up correctly. Check the ground strap on the cylinder head to make sure you reattached it as well. Look over all your sensors as well for any unplugged items.

See your other post as I posted the link to bleed the clutch correctly.

Let me know if there are more questions I can answer.

Check all the relays in the fuse block... 10:1 odds one is loose (it will do the dead key thing) take the cover off and check em all make sure they arent loose.. I am also willing to bet you took the block apart to get it out to take out the motor, make sure the bottom parts all went back in correctly and the crews holding it together are tight..
also bleeding the clutch isn't that hard... use the mitivac method and have a friend just keep pumping the clutch and brake pedal.. I just did a tranny last week and we repeated 5 times and it worked out fine...
also double and triple check all your connections as 2k5ssc stated they could be dirty and can be cleaned with contact cleaner...
well hope this helps./. g/l and keep us posted

you charged the battery on "Start" for 30 minutes?!

Thats a good way to make a homemade bomb or fire, batteries arent made to be charged with that kind of current!

Try jumping it with another vehicle

It honestly sounds like he fragged his battery.

Standard battery chargers that have a 'start' setting run a 55amp current on 'start' and it should never be used for more than 30 seconds, as it can damage the battery and the charger. A sealed lead acid battery should never be charged at more than 10-15 amps

i would get some help with this... i don't mean to be a dick, but you're asking all these questions, and it kinda sounds like you're not 100% sure what you're doing... i would get someone that knows before you do some serious damage to your car...

I can guess you have the wires wrong to the starter... that would be the best guess there

thing is i never took the wires off the starter i just pulled it out and rested it on the lower frame

there are a few things here

my rear o2 i had to splice in im going to check that
I also forgot to d/c battery and hit starter witha wrench and it make hell of sparks

so that is my answer for those

but i have no clue why my pcv was clicking so loud

yea, make sure you didn't cut or smash any wires. both me and 06black did this with the fuel injector wires.
