OFFICIAL Blown 4-banger build updates!
Well things are starting to roll pretty quickly. I wouldn't be suprized if I could use my car to pick up the thanksgiving turkey from the store (then having to get gas for the 1.2 mile journey home
)
I just check crowers website and they still have them listed the same so I will probably give them a call once its closer to that time or wait till you get a part number.... hope to see your car running soon cam..... once I started seeing vids of your car and reading your build post I decided I wanted to see just how far the stock supercharger will take the cobalt. you are a inspiration my friend.... plus turbos are just to common lol

JBP says buying from their dealers is "cheaper" than direct from JBP. Remember a
company who has parts made in the
has to pay duty+shipping to get them to
and you pay for it. Buy from the
JBP dealers and save. It's simple economics.

Sure, we'll race on the street..... oh I win, your car won't be street driveable!!! At the track, sure you'll destroy me, but then again the only thing our cars will share is the block and head. Yours will be a full blown (trailor it events) race car, where mine will be a street/strip warrior. Its like comparing a Cessna with a machine gun to a F22

It took me a long time to get the shops to understand that this is my "street" car. The chassis is being built so I can have at least as good of a suspension as the car was stock.
Yes my car will get trailered to the race track, only because, I will be swapping out the street rearend and axels for dragstrip only parts. My whole suspension is completely adjustable to compensate for the differences between drag racing and road course racing.
I will have at least 3 different tunes so I can choose how much power I want to be running when I am driving to the corner store or taking the wife out for dinner.
Yes my car is going to be streetable. That is the purpose of the smaller turbo, boost down low.

Either way, as I stated before....

But ahhh , cages can be built in many ways man . When we did the cage in my 95 Trans Am vert , we built the door bars to avoid just that . Getting in and out was an cake and it was still NHRA legal .
