OFFICIAL Blown 4-banger build updates!
ok first off I'm sorry for being off topic and all but I need HELP, I have a thread out and nobody has either seen it or posted in it. I have read most of this thread and know that most of the parts are supplied as one off parts so I'll rule them out due to cash issues. I need a rotating kit to put in my 2.0 that will stand up to around 500HP, seen GM's stuff and I like it but, damn it's expensive. If at all possible would like to find something different, seen JBP's stuff but, heard alot of bad about them, their support, and their equipment. If ANYONE can help please do. Right now I figure I'm running just shy of 400 horses? Stage 2 w/ 2.8" pulley, GMPP Exhaust and Exhaust Manifold, Injen Intake, and to finish it off 125hp of Zex wet
. I usually run a 100hp because the car isn't to impressed with the 125 all the time. Please Help Me!

P.S. I though this would be a good time to tell everyone I'm posting this from my hotel room in Vegas, with my laptop computer I WON today at the SEMA show. In the media lounge they had an xbox 360 challenge with PGR, and over the day who ever got the fastest laptime, won the days prise (which today was a laptop). I went in there and asked what the fastest lap was, 1:24.99 says the lady. I walked outta there with a best time of 1:21.30

Thanks! Yeah, and concidering it was free, its a damn good computer! Super light and small, and realy durable. Its got a Centrino duo 1.8 Ghz precessor, 512 MB ram, 60 gig hard drive, dvd player, and a cd burner. Perfect for what I plan on using it for (surfin the web, photoshopping stuff, and using HP Tuners).

[QUOTE=Blown 4-banger;1624227]Yeah dude, there is no way in hell your even near 400. Just like wunsick said, your prolly around 260ish off spray, so even with the 100 shot its still 360, and on stock internals that ain't gonna last long.
Like I said before " JUST SHY OF 400 ON THE SPRAY " and I also said that I was running 125HP shot 260+125=385=Just Shy. Been running the 100 for 4 months now and the only thing that hasn't lasted was the clutch, and yes I know that isn't going to be the case for long but that is how I take care of business(wanna build your car up? Keep stepping it up until you find all the weak points)
Just buy the diamond pistons, and get some rods if you want. Stock crank is good to 600 hp.
600? I thought I had read an article about GM testing the ecotec and the crank broke well before that. Am I wrong?
eagle, crower and companies like that are not vendors, they are manufactorers. They send parts TO vendors for distribution.

GM Rates the stock crank to 600. However if you plan making that much, make sure you have neutral balance shafts!
