the closest thing we have to 93 is 91 here in phx. that only leaves one solution which just happens to be down the road from b4b 100 octane race fuel sold at only about 70 cents more than what we are all probably paying right now if I am not mistaken though i have seen that stuff go for 6 bucks at times

that is correct though most of our vendors are top tier fuel vendors. There are rare spots that have 93 but outside of the cities in mom and pop shops

 

Yeah and the quality of our gas out west is horrible compared to what you guys have back east. I'll have a tune for 91 pump, and a tune for 100 octane, or I might go to the track and get some 109 octane.

 

Is the tunes between each octane in power it makes each is a big differenece?

 

someone out here with a fully built motor put down about 130hp more on 109 than 91. there was a 14 degree timing difference, the only difference was he swapped froma 2.8 to a 2.6, put the 109 in there and the retune.

 

there is a large difference. This is why stage 3 from gm has a 100 octane mode.

 

With mine

91 octane = 2.9 pulley (~310-320 whp)
109 octane = 2.6 pulley (~375+ whp)
109 octane + 100 shot = 2.6 pulley (~450+ whp)
