Uh... No new updates. New belt will be here on monday. I bled the intercooler system in the mean time. On the first drive, the intercooler had maybe a couple cups of fluid in it. The ambient air temp was like 98 degrees (like 12 in the morning), and my IAT2 was 164-167 degrees. After bleeding the intercooler, ambient air temp was 113 (mid-day), and IAT2 was ~125-130. Huge difference. Still gotta figure out WTF is up with the knock sensor
i dont remember...killa cam will have to scan them again...there were like seven codes poppin up first one was for the A/C pressure switch was not connected then all the other one when it was running so well have to wait for him to scan them again
I'm getting 2 codes for the knock sensor, 2 for the front o2 sensor, and 1 for the ac pressure sensor.
im not @ his house...they were both 2 wire connectors up front on the bottom one was on the driver side...the other was on pass. side...if i remember correctly one was light green and red????other white and blue??????i could be wrong but i searched everywhere on the engine and trans for any un connected sensors but i couldnt find anything at all.
my buddy with the 98 gsx had the same issue when he got his motor built as well just something small an seemingly easy ends up always being the issue, in his case there were boost leaks and an issue with the throttle body
