Yes, but I only want 400-500 whp. You can do that with an LS1 all motor, on stock internals.

its YOUR fault it went down this way....

not the engines.

save it, fix it, turbo it, drive it.

you'll be plenty happy in the end.

Perhaps I shall do that. Basically I need GM cam blanks, STOCK BASE CIRCLE grind, with a shitload more duration (240-250 @ .050" lift), and thats about it. Car will be a bitch to start due to lack of cam sensor, but whatever, I'm doing a 4" straight pipe out behind the front tire once I go turbo.

I drove about 9k miles and months without that cam sensor, well worth it for a nice set of cams. Just take the head to a machine shop to get it plugged.

Also, a vendor on here will be making LSJ Cam blanks very soon from 2.2 intake blanks. They will be pressing in the exhaust hex bushing at the correct angle.

Maybe not. I'm still thinking about it. Luckily it doesn't hurt me TOOOOO much not having a car, because I have a great group of friends, who take care of me. I just need some time to think.

wow, ive been following this thread a long time, and i even know thats a load of crap.

my car on a plastic 2.2 intake manifold, log style exhaust manifold with ebay parts with a gate spring of 7psi and no boost controller, is on par and just as fast as a fully bolted ion redline hitting 18psi with 60's, 2.8 pulley, zzp heat exchanger, and custom tuned by 06black here.

y dont u just put the stock cams in if ur so worried about them??

ur being such a baby about this even though uve come so far.

Hell will freeze over before he puts those back in. Plus he ended up sending the stock cams in to be ground IIRC.

i've put a few K on my car with my re-grinds and no top end problems to report.

the cams still look perfect!

I'm stickin with the cobalt. One of my friends said they would disown me if I got a bike. So thats out of the question. I just need money, so perhaps selling some of my prescription drugs is in order? Prolly not, but **** I can get $5 a pill for those bastards!!! Tuning money will help too. I'm lookin at like $500+ to make the top end reliable.

I don't understand why you don't just throw the stock cams in for now.

Yeah, they are actually .060" longer valve stems, and 1mm wider. I was told the longer valve stems should dramatically reduce the risk of valvetrain problems. Obviously, I was wrong.
