HEY!!! Your sleeves are fine, now its also true that your soul belongs to the devil, but thats besides the point. Once my car is done with with everything and tuned, it should easily out power your car on low boost and 91 octane with no meth. The first time I go to the track I'm going to run stock tires (14.xx @ 120) but the time after that I'm going with full blown drag slicks (11's???)

I doubt it will be done by December. It all depends on a lot of things falling into place.

I would rather pay for parts and have a running car rather than put up smiley faces and get free parts while waiting over a year and a half to get my car running.

Your not building a custom fabbed 1000 WHP twin turbo car. That **** should have been done a year and 3 months ago.

And for the amount of posts that you have, You didn't know JBP sucks? LOL Thats kind of sad.

I knew their customer support sucked, but I was talking about product quality.

I hear you on getting stuff for free, but i would really hate to see your motor nuke due to bunk valve train parts.

I don't know man, the equal length one has a nice straight forward to the collector, where as yours its at a sharp 45 degree angle.

angle, smangle, the why a turbine back's up exhaust gas, thats the least of the flow worries

i wish i would have taken a closer picture, 1-2-3 are just about perfectly matched in length, with 4 having about 1.75in worth of extra pipe, not to shabby and i accomplished a far great goal.

the big advantage is my mounting position.

while ya'll are forced to make a 90* turn out of the hotside to meet up to the exhaust, i have a straight path.

post turbine flow is far more important then pre-turbine flow due to the way the engine supplies pressure.

you want max pressure delta for peak performance.

who said anything about a 90 degree turn muahahah lol.
j/k for now
but yeah it's a huge leap compared to the pos manifold on my car, plus I don't have a g to play with at the moment to go ***** out like yours, but it's a step in the right direction at least.
Cant wait to see the results.

Whats this nonsense of a 90* bend?!?! Once I get the turbo on there, I will have a 4" pipe from the turbine housing, straight out behind the front tire, with a smaller wastegate dump right next to it. I'm registering my car at my grandparents house up north... where there are no emissions requirements

you have to clear the trans, water pump pipe, t-stat housing, stearing linkage, shift linkage, and random other wire looms and bits and pieces and such.

i tired it son, trust me...i tried it. wanted that bad...but the bends were going to be worse then changing the design and going about it proper way.

you'll have to have at least 1.5 "heavy" bends. or sag the turbo down low, and only have to make 2....muwhaha.

remember, each 7deg of bend = 1ft of pipe the gas "see's" per resistance to flow.

Well, the Hahn GT35 car made 440 whp, with a ****** log manifold and damn spiral off the back of the turbo!

That's my point cam, it only made 440whp and **** for torque at a higher boost level and larger turbo then me.

Also on a optimistic dyno, I run on a production intent OEM SAE-certed dyno. It's checked every 4months.

The lag that system had due to it's multiple design flaws, and tuneing, was the reason that car made **** for torque and only decent power while under big boost.

Then it blew the duck up!!

And Mr.blower fan boi, u would hate a system that made that little torque.

the other bonnus of the tube style mani's is you gain more boost per pound like just stated above. That mostly why companys like fullrace see gains upward of 20+hp gain per pound

It's all mass air flow....

More cfm=better! (duh!)

A tube manifold doesnt force exhaust pulse's to share pipe cross section like a log does.

How much for a reproduction of your manifold then?
