How did you do the LED inners? Did you follow the how to with the flexible strip here?

Hey guys, I was wondering, I know that the stock halos aren't blue, but to me they look to have blueish tint. Are there brighter halos that will look bright white?

The new CCFL technology is brighter and whiter than the original HALO. I'm getting the gen. 3's off eBay with the CCFL. They also have them available with the HID kit included if you want them too, but Im going with HIDs from buyhids.com to save some cash.. just search "cobalt headlight ccfl" on eBay and they'll pop right up!

I had a fellow CSS member do them, but they are single LED's drilled into the back and wired up to work. They were done about 4 years ago.

Rissa is a woman... that's an 08 turbocharged. Her headlights look like just the factory lights painted, or there's black stock ones you can buy in the first post of this thread.

How much did it cost you to have them installed and how much of a pain is it to do. I have never taken apart my headlight assembly so i don't know how much work it is.

Being that they're by blown06ss I think he sells them for around $600-700 shipped, depending on what you want in them.

Has anyone else had issues with the ebay smoked tail lights? I just bought a set from another member on here and on the drivers side one the actual plastic housing separated from the lens.

I'm beginning to think my car just does not like smoked tail lights. First I tried VHT Nite shades (twice) taking my time and doing everything properly and they didn't look shiny enough, then I had them wrapped with a smoked film at a tint shop which looked great but bubbled after a couple months so I had it re-wrapped and guess what it bubbled again so I bought these POS ebay ones and what do you know they fall apart. I glued the lens back on but it doesn't look great as you can see the bead of glue inside the tail light when you look close on a sunny day. Anyone have any suggestions

it took me like 5 minutes to install them lol. but i didnt wire the shutters or anything. talk to blownss06 he made mine and it sounds like u want to buy a set off him. all i had to do was go under the hood and hook up the relay power wire to the red terminal by the fuse box and attach the ground to well.. a grounding point. then i just ran the wires across the front of the car away from the S/C pulley and attached them to the ballast which were velcroed underneath my headlights. then pluged the headlights into the ballasts. definitley the easiest install ive done on my car by far

What I had done on my old car was 3 coats of Niteshade and 2 coats of clearcoat on the stock taillights. This made them a lot shinier Plus you can wax them!

I have a huge question someone sort of asked it earlier in this post but didnt really get an answer. I have a 2010 Cobalt 2Lt and I really hate the stock look that it has. One of the changes I want to make is swithching out the headlights but I'm really unsure if the 2nd gen or 4th gen would work on the 2010. I asked a couple of months ago at the dealer what the diffrences were when they promoted the headlights up to 08 and he said it was the plug is this true. Also I want to go with the ccfl halo look but i want a good projector aswell what do you guys recomend.
