the hot spot on those in reality s no worse then a stock 350z vw CC and some other cars.. they're no s2000 projectors but they're nice for a great price

That's what I figured! I used E500 Open Bowl projectors on projects I'm made, yes they don't have the SHARP cutoff and the clear lense swap like Acura TSX lenses and S2000 lenses, but for $200 cheaper for the bi-xenon lense in an open bowl that the E500 has, you can't go wrong!

I run D2S bulbs for bi-xenon projects

my bulbs look like D2S' but they're wired into the setup

my setup looks to be an open bowled projector too but the hroud closes it off but like you said.. for the price i cant complain

they were 150 with HIDS and they have a pretty crisp cutoff.. their width with only 1 light is the width of my gfs house (like 46 or so ft) and like i said they're bixenons lol so W000t

as you can see it's wider then the house, i took that picture on my phone lol that was from about 25 ft back

it's pretty ridiculous i was very suprised considering the price

no hot spot there and thats with the same setup just 8k hids instead of 6k just better camera settings lol

on a motor cycle lol

if you guys arent scared to open your lights to paint them... well boom

and opening lights are cakewalk anymore (for me at least). My damn hand just gets hot at times to where I pull it back shaking it vigorously and scream OUCH!

PS - output looks decent on the cavi!

i actually have been asked at least 3 times if my car was a gto. ha ha with my coilovers and the slight rake it has, it looks pretty mean.
one guy asked me if it was a turbo gto because he thought the radiator looked like an intercooler. he was a car mechanic too. ha ha

usually opening lights arent hard but it's like they used 5 miinute epoxy on these ******* sc2 lights lol ...

and yea .. the output is pretty good.. it looks like the bowls are a little more shallow then normal but they're a shallow mount projector so they take up less space so you have to sacrifice someplace ..

but these > ebay projectors lol they're the same price .just require a little work.. but you have the halos in these if you want to use them and they have a good output IMO all i cared about is they were better then my stock sc2 lights.. i cant even see off the side of the road with those lol

im not scared to open them again, i just dont want to do it. ive done it once, but i got every last bit of factory sealant out. i was parinoid about them not sealing properly. im not about to do that again, especially as extensive as the first time. these will do just fine.

every time I open the lights I don't remove ALL the sealant. I let the sealant that was used from the factory set back in the grooves after removing the light. I then use some black RV sealant and place it over the same track. Worked every time and no leaks.

Takes way too much time to remove ALL the facotry glue/epoxy, plus it hardens too quick when out of the oven.

heat gun, screwdriver, and razor blade. ha ha if you saw how well i did it, you will understand why i dont want to do it again. and i dont think i would do it any less if i did it a second time. thats why i rocked one black and one chrome for over a year (winking at the ladies lol).

False, my Gen 1 projectors have a left/right, up/down adjustment... and they have "hot spots" doesn't bother me though. these lights look amazing, BEST DESIGN YET!

has anyone seen the Saturn Astra (hatch back style). i was almost hoping they would fit the cobalt, but no luck. these gen4 are the closest and look the best
