Have you ever actually driven a TC or are you just an armchair racer and compare what's put on paper? I've driven a 2.4 with upgraded suspension and it handled like garbage.

Yes ive driven a tc. Drove one before buying my 2.4 (didnt want a manual and the 5900 dollar price difference made the decision for me)

So youve driven a 2.4 with a suspension that was upgraded to near TC spec? Or are you just "armchair racing"?

btw springs alone dont constitute an upgraded suspension. Also a 2.4 upgraded to near tc spec will OMG handle similar to a TC not garbage. A 2.4 on sportlines will handle nowhere near it.

At this point its obvious your a tc nutswinger and have honestly lost what credibility you had.
Thanks for playing!

Isn't the best stock 2.4 time around 14.7 or 14.8? Real strong.

Yeah I think so. Around a tight track it would do ok against an LNF if it had equal suspension and tires.

Its ok the 2.4s are always under estimated.

The torque disparity down low is absurd. Them: 260 tq at 2,000 rpm. Us: ~130 tq at 2,000 rpm

yeah it would come down to driver. I still think the lnf would win (I mean honestly it should!) I just think the 2.4 wouldnt do that bad against it. The extra power and tq wouldnt mean as much on a tight track like some of the solo and autocross style racing.

lol this summer if I see a tc at the autocross will try to see what times he runs. however Im an auto so the times will be further apart than they would if I was a 5spd.
