Well then that works out perfect haha.

Yeah that anthracite is a nice color. Mine will be something similar to that in the near future.

If it's done properly and you take care of it, the Dip can last a couple a years, like 2-3. Some of my buddies have their car dipped since 32 months.

I did some test stripes last night. Completely eyeballed the tape as I laid it down. The tape didn't come off clean though so it ripped the paint off in places. I peeled it off this morning and will be more careful when I try again.

My best tip about dipping with tape... Peel the tape while its still wet if one cost and if more than one coat you can still peel after a coat and still wet and re tape if its not much, or take a plastic straight blade and cut the dip before tape removal.

Thanks! I didn't realize I could have done that or the hood stripes would probably still be there. I peeled the tape while it was still wet for these fender stripes. Plastic straight blade? Never head of that though. I found that pulling the tape as flush with the body panel as possible makes it come off pretty clean.

I just put the blaze yellow on my wheels just to see how obnoxious it looks and I actually like it. I will post pictures when I can get to a computer.

Matte silver or whatever they wanted to call it lol. It's the one that dipyourcar did on the r8. I added silver holographic flakes to it though. Really shines in the light. This is right after adding dipcoat to it so it looks darker
