I like stripes on Cobalts.

And Im in a love hate relationship with your wheels. Sometimes I like, sometimes I dont

 

hahaha ya i bought them as a cheap winter set of ebay for like 450 bucks shipped.. yea not a bad deal.
but i liked them so much i rock them all the time. But i plan on getting either black 045s then doing the stripes, but still looking around for other wheels.

 

I agree with this ^ I also like stripes, but I think they look best painted. Im not saying decals cant look 'good' but its still a sticker... One thing with paint tho, is its permanent, unless you spend alot to repaint your car like I did.

There's nothing wrong with the decals. That is what all the new camaros and my dads o7 monte ss has and they look sweet. I think the cobalt decals look good too. I am going to get the tree green on my black ss.

 

Not trying to offend you young man, I said decals could look 'good' too, just saying I wouldnt want that much sticky on my car.

when are people going to stop using the term rice? like seriously...they are stripes. people have been putting stripes on cars since cars came out lol....long before fast n furious came out...

 

I agree with this too, someone called my cf rice the other day.
I dont think stripes are rice, decal or paint. They look good on balts.

 

yellow balt + stripes = sex
Rice=silly/stupid (like most hondas you see)

Bottom line...I'm not trying to make my american made car
into a rice wagon by throwing a bunch of cheap japanese parts on it

hmmm.. ive seen flat.. but I dont think ive seen a sliver car with gloss black stripes before.

 

your car looks clean now, dont ruin it with stripes =) but go ahead for fender stripes!
