If you are painting them black just get the Duplicolor kit, it's cheaper.

Yes. It's an enamel based paint making it strong. And there definitely is a lot more than needed in the can. I did all four of my calipers by brush, and I still have 3/4 can left.

I couldve walked over there from WI with a can of spray paint and had this done already in the time it takes you to decide this.. who would've thought painting calipers was so difficult

it takes 3-5 hours depending on the system you yse and how well you prep.

i took a good amount of time with g2 paint.

jacking my whole car up
wheels iff
brake cleaner/wire brush everything
mask off everything around the caliper you can as good as possible

taking your time to do solid light coats
~4 coats and i painted my engine mount while i was at it with the leftover

let it sit about a day longer if possible

good to go

took about 6 hrs, only since one came out bad so had to sand and redo it. advice is make sure you have the surface clean!! otherwise it'll start spotting. Take the extra time and do a good job. The quality of a good prep job in the end will definitely be worth it.

I did the brembo swap on my car and just painted the rear calipers the same color that the brembos came in
