^ I've never had this issue with mine..and i'm not going very much darker, just enough to put a new shine on them

Thats what I did. I've had mine done close to 2 years. They look the same since day one when they got painted. Haven't faded at all. I've only got pulled over once for the tail lights. He pulled me over for no front plate, my tinted windows and my tails. He let me go though and told me not to worry about the tint and the tail lights and told me to just put my front plate back on. I got lucky he let me go with a verbal warning. Still haven't put the plate back on. It's in my wind shield.

Oh and on top off all that I didn't even have my license that day. And he still let me go. And plus he's my neighbor lol. He's like I see u running those stop signs in our sub division.
