Arrow Remove VHT "Night Shades" Paint?

Like the title says.. does anyone know how to remove the VHT "Night Shades" paint from the tail lights and the front lights? Is there a chemical or cream that does this?

Try some mineral spirits or paint stripper? Mineral spirits will be safest on the plastic lenses. If you use a stronger paint stripper just don't leave it sit on the plastic for very long. I used mineral spirits to get mine off. Sanded it down a bit as well since I had many layers. Then I fine sanded the lenses and clear coated it and it looked factory again.

i tested paint thinner in a very small area, it ate the plastic like acid.. Mineral spirits - which one and which sand paper grit? My lights have 9 lite coats of VHT and 3 heavy coats of Clear..

Start with something like a 600 grit and see how it's going. Once it's all off and you didn't go below 400 grit you might be able to clear. I would get it up to 600 then clear. Will look brand new if you use automotive clear. Not sure about rattle can.

If you don't have access to auto paint, I'd say get it up to 1000, then a light dynabrade, then you can wheel it out.
