umm if u could get the code in the trunk and take that to a body shop and ask them, or just go to the dealer, my uncle works at a ford dealership in the body shop department and owns his own body shop and thats where he gets all his paints, i got my red from there for free and it was exactly the same

Well around here (near Baltimore) we have Keystone and Certifit and a few other places that mix it. You need to break out the phone book, look for body shop suppliers and ask them if they mix paint. If you find one (you will don't worry) just give them your paint code and they can mix it for you.

yea, pretty much ANY decent body shop can mix the paint for you. call around see what you come up with. are you painting it yourself, is that why you need it?

Actualy Keystone paints come pre-mixed and ready to spray! No reducer needed they do it for you so you get it right. Then its just spray the paint and clear it and your done.

Get your paint code here:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ht=paint+codes

order your paint here:

GMPartsDirect.com

Just put in your paint code and you can get it like that. No one makes the sunburst orange except GM and it is an exact match.

Keystone mixes the Sunburst orange, I know its where I got it for my Cavi when I painted the spoiler. In fact their are 3 different varients of the Sunburst orange. One is dead on one has a tad more yellow and the third is more toward red. You can't tell the difference unless you paint your car the wrong shade of the orange. You need to go to them with your car so they can check it with paint chips.

I wanna put on and paint my body kit myself. Can i use the color matched spray paint and clear coat that? I think that was a stupid question cuz you probably need special paint right? Whats the best paint and clear coat i can buy? My car is black.

if you don't know what you're doing, i wouldn't recommend even bothering to attempt... if it doesn't come out right, not only did you waste the money on paint and clear coat, but now instead of just painting it a body shop will have to strip off the paint first, then paint it. if you think you can do it, go for it, but if it doesn't come out right it will cost you alot of extra money. there's a reason why places charge so much for paint, it's not easy with no experience.
