Almost forgot, if you put the torx bit on a 1/4 drive socket wrench, you can get it off without removing the reflector too.

Ok I got the screw removed.... Thanks for the help. Gotta give the lights one more coat, paint the reflectors , then clear everything and then just wait for the retrofit kit.

How to run fogs into running lights so they stay on with hi and low beams as well as only running lights.
Remove Headlight

Tabs, I have found a flat head works great

Headlight bolts (10mm)

Headlight Bracket 4 10mm blots

Locate fog light

All you need from a fog light is a ground and a power. I cut my wires out and just ran them as following

Blue is ground. (aftermarket wires factory color is different

Factory wiring color is brown for running lights. tap your power into this

fog light into running lights

tape up and reinstall and enjoy

Factory wiring color is brown for running lights. this is also perfect to tap your halo ring into btw

the blue wire is the blinker if you would like for your halos to flash with flashers!!!

Now I know this isn't for your retrofit kits per say...but they are the G3 kits from 3b specs. I got them mounted and everything, but they came with this wiring harness...

Obviously that plug to the "headlight socket" isn't gunna work. Is there a way I can either rewire it or something to make it work for me?

The easiest thing would have been to order H4/9003 hids, since that is what your harness is for. It might be possible to cut off that connector and wire in the correct one, but that means finding the correct one.

Think about how many times per day you start your car. Getting gas, going to the store, running errands, etc.

If you leave the DRL fuse in, you are asking your HIDs to fire every time you start the car, which will seriously limit their life.

OK, so then there is no way to wire the halos to be on all the time? (other than to a voltage source from the fuse box) I like some light on (black car rural roads, so many mother f***ers have pulled out in front of me)
