Lightbulb Issue with retro's solved.

I had no issues getting mine put in and lit up fine. I bought the pre-maid retro's so it was easy for me

I did not hook up the halo's yet, im not sure if I will. I wanna see some of the ideas the peanut gallery comes up with before I try something.

At night I adjusted the lighting using my garage, everything looked good except for the cutoff line was alittle funky, makes an obtuse 25 degree angle to the right of the cut off line for both projectors. (at least that doesnt point at the oncoming traffic.) started to drive and then after 2 minutes I noticed my right projector started slumping down. then it was basically pointed at the ground.

Today I took the head light off and found that the adjuster screw popped out of the reflector housing cap. I went ahead and took some vice grip plyers and held the cap in place while I used a screw driver on the adjuster screw to force it back into socket. Worked! Now as to why the screw popped out in the first place, I dont know... hopefully not a defect in the headlight assembly. We will see tonight after I give the car a ride to a friends house.

Here are some pics.

Funny thing, my friend asked "did you wire up my new lights to wink at me?" haha... nope, but it was only one halo.

The results.

up close.

fogs and projectors on.

4500K light out put.

All and all they were a good purchase. Looks like alot of messy glue work in the back and I found a finger print or two on the reflector housing, but if I were making these im sure there'd be alot more, lol.

Pulled the DRL fuse as well (honestly the greatest mod any one could ever do!) lol.

My fogs stay on now whenever I turn the car on, strange huh? and I don't have to worry about the headlights being on all the time....

Very Odd Problem...

Timeline

Cutting Grass started to Rain
Decided to install the fogs
Rain Stopped
Continued with Fog Installation
Got the fogs working with relay harness
Grass was dry, went to cut
Had Dinner
Dark out now
Went to check out the fogs
Driver one works... Passenger doesn't...
Switched Hid Bulbs Same thing
Switched Ballast Same Thing
Plugged the passenger ballast directly to car, passenger side works...
Not Cabling
Not Ballast
Not Bulb...

What the hell could of broke? How could the relay break?

did your relays get wet? That would easily cause this.

I also noticed when all plugged in with relay.. I noticed that the driver side is flickering a little bit?
Is't possible my battery could be weak?

The Passenger, I found a hole right beside the intake tube...

I actually tightened it, still nothing

Edit: If kidcrash or mkulrey don't respond before I get up in the morning, then I will post some pics of the setup

The fog light kit that I bought with my retrofit kit has a male plug coming off of the h11 HID bulb so how am I supposed to plug that into the stock harness?? The plug that I have coming off of the bulb looks like the same yellow male plug that plugs into the ballast..

Update Part 2:

So everything is mounted and everything works, both grounds are on fender bolts etc.. etc..

But my Driver side fog is still flickering, and the ballast is making a ticking sound

Looks to me like the passenger side is crooked and the drivers side is good.
