Then again, I dipped into the 13's, and at this elevation, for our cars, I consider that pretty decent (especially considering my few mods)...

Change your header if you are going to drop pullies. But keep your stock cat back. I wish I did. It was an expensive road to get non ricer, quiet sounding exhaust. Especially being catless.

yes im glad i stayed stock this time.... i would put a diff resonator in there tho.... and i working on finding a quiet solution for the muffler... i know you had a quiet flow.... i am searching for a diff option..... funny i went from maybe the loudest car to a quiet car....

 

The only thing that saved my ass in the end is ZZPs resonator. You won't find a better one. For what that M62 flows the stock cat back will work just fine.

I atually last night came across an oil pressure gauge that comes pretty close to mimicing the factory boost gauge (but backlighting is a bit different);





I've been flip-flopping between buying a motorbike radar detector, or an oil pressure gauge...

I think I've found my solution.

 

lol serious i got it lol hahahahahahahahaahahahha... thats cool..... i got to thinking it was a item that had nothing to do with under the hood.... but what threw me off was you were not sure that jon had one.... jon has a tri pod with a gauge bezel.... i think he is just adding a double gauge bezel....

It's a critical gauge that should be on any performance car.
GM bean counters deleted oil pressure gauges some time in the last decade or so because they saw it becoming a nusiance... but if you lose oil pressure, it's indicitive of engine issues down the road... so as I see it, having the gauge, is cheap insurance.
