GM bean counters deleted oil pressure gauges some time in the last decade or so because they saw it becoming a nusiance... but if you lose oil pressure, it's indicitive of engine issues down the road... so as I see it, having the gauge, is cheap insurance.
But at the end of the day how many Balts have gone down due to lack of oil?

on LNF performance I read of one...

most people here (with some obvious exceptions), are totally inept with the mechanical side of things...
as can be seen from the repetative nature of stupid threads...

essentially i think the gauge is all good.... i like that it matches closely... oil pressure is a good thing to know.... blue just think if you had one you would have known instantly what happened when you popped....

yes we have gotten preoccupied before...... but i think its time we all had a timmies meet soon....

I want to get an EGT gauge when this motor is done but have no idea where to put it. Debated getting a dual pod piece for the gauge cluster and putting my interceptor in with the EGT gauge to keep a closer eye on things then just go to a dual pod pillar set up for my boost and wideband. Not a cheap change though. Suggestions anyone?

My life should be getting a bit more normal as of March 1st - and I was wondering if you all wanted to do a timmy's meet for the first saturday in March?

Jamie is moving to Calgary (Airdrie to be exact) as of March, so I won't be flip-flopping between Calgary & Lethbridge so much... and queezing in a litle meet will be no big deal ~ just like it was before.

I'm going to be in Lethbridge for all intensive purposes, for all remaining weekends, for hte month of February...

So aside from meeting up on a weeknight (most weeks, I set aside wednesday evening for baby-sitting btw), I'm non-committal till March...

I wouldn't worry about creating a second account - use Ella's... we al know who it will be posting

You can just go to settings, and make sure no GMToC updates are hitting her email inbox.

anything can be bad...

it all depends on the person...

I don't troll for stuf on FB, I just keep in touch with friends, and do the group thing on there...

GMToC, Calgary Firebird Club, and a few others...

I only use Facebook for GMTOC. Nothing else.

Mark you could create an account, and just join gmtoc, you don't have to add all your other minions. So the only thing that pops up is gmtoc

it is nice to have a place to talk & what not outside of a site like this where sometimes the childishness, or thuggary from select few can become annoying... GMToC is just a bunch of friendly people with hte comon thread of liking GM's "outcast" cars...

Don't know the guy and the blonde but I knew te other girl haha. I played hockey with her brother for 6 years. She's a year older than me

And the only reason it popped up is because your "subscribed" to me automatically by being friends with me. She also tagged me in that photo so it appeared without me wanting it too haha. Not that I cared though.

Last time I actually posted something was a picture of my uncle rod holding a huge metal pole to the sky during a lightning storm in july haha. I dubbed that picture "lightning rod"

iirc they were both cute... would you let one year in age prevent you from seeing if something is there?

Talking of oil pressure. Anyone now the usual parameters that an oil gauge should read? I have one on my jeep that reads in hpa, which means nothing to me
