Ryan is the absolute authority on this, but there's things like wrapping and ceramic coating that will help with keeping the heat inside a tubular manifold. But I agree, smaller volume = quicker spool.

That's a tough comparison considering it's a completely different platform but I can see a tubular style making more power in the end indeed. BUT there's a reason why zzp doesn't build it and not many people run it... For the size of snail we run it won't out flow a log mani and has quicker spool on our motor from the research I've done.

To be honest I think Mark's car is great but I think my car is lacking. I want more top end and if I was to upgrade the turbo it would not compete with the M62 any longer so I am still thinking turbo But with that said I will be running the stock LNF manifold with a bolt on turbo option. I love custom work and I'm looking at doing my own intake manifold right now

I'll buy it and put it on after a few months of running the stock wheel. They say its good for at 50 hp. I'll have to do some comparisons
