I wasn't being hostile at all, I have nothing against him. I just stated that I don't want sportlines. But thanks Jon for the offer. Better?

I don't know why you ask people stuff. Everytime someone answers you. You get all defensive. I know both of those guys, and they were simply stating they can't help you unless it's what they know about.

all messing around aside, the whole reason why the older civics/CRX's are used by the import crowd is power to weight ratios - those are about as small/lightweight as it gets - and iirc those cars are pretty accomidating to drivetrain swaps...

Too bad that in stock form they were sub-90hp cars (at least the ones originally sold in Canada!)...

The explorer isn't really an off-road vehicle;
although I'm sure you can set one up to handle it - I would ask this;
"why bother?"

If you're a blue-oval fan, get an older Bronco;
If you're a bow-tie guy, get an older legit 4x4...

but that's just my two cent's worth...

man it's looking nice outside right about now!

Acey if you do I could set you up with a couple parts if you go SC route, and I'm down for a build haha.

PM me for my phone # if you want.
