Random question, was talking to a guy from gm the other day. I was planning on getting a CAI. Have been told the 2010 SS/TC has a "down learning" feature, the way it was explained is that anything I do for a HP gain prior to getting the GMPP upgade will be canceled out. Although this sounds like bull to me I was wondering if anyone can confirm this.

It does have a learn down feature. They weren't lieing. But get a tune and u can raise the learn down limit feature.

 

The GMPP tune turns off the learn down feature all together right?

 

If I recall correctly, the learn down is a parameter that the car tries to reach, tunes may not actually remove it but they increase it to a level that car cannot reach, effectively eliminating it. Don't quote me on that.
