I had put the camera away the pass before and I obviously cant predict when his runs are going to be good. Next time i'll record every single run and attempt to remember which one goes to what slip and put them in order for ya. Seriously..what do you want from him? He has slips, he has vids and he has put enough money in his car to be at least a little respected on here. Yea im just the girlfriend and yes i support him as much as i hate him spending so much money on his car. He is a guy and you cant expect him not to be happy with what he has done to his car. His car came with nothing and now the damn thing has more crap than my car...and mine came with all the options! He can have an ego now and again but ya know what...he's a guy and its NORMAL for a guy to have some ego. i know i can beat a lancer GTS no problem. but what else? in this segment. cars that would be a shock, so no saying oh a stock honda civic. lol.

hell if i did a track prep setup on my car instead of leaving whateves in my car from the week (which usually adds about 100 lbs or so) and actually had decent tires that weren't screwing my gear ratio, my car would've been mid 14's before .. and it had about the same whp that you do .. but then again DID i run that.. no..

have run ran anything better then a 14.9.. no. don't play it up like some minor weight reduction and better tires are going to cut 1 second off your time. alot of the people that have said you wont run what you think you will have a good amount more experience with it. and if that means you're going to push your car harder to rear the goes then great.. but stop getting so bent outta shape because of it


i have ambitions for my car too .. i've been planning for a while (since 9 months after i bought my car) the things i'm doing .. and i'll be pretty excited if all my ambitions play out .. however.. just because my car SHOULD"VE been mid to high 14's before and it should be mid 13's now.. doesn't mean when someone tells me no it wont run that i turn into a douche .. i just shut my mouth and let the car speak for itself .. it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to do the same

i wish i put my blower on a little bit later so i could've been part of this.. but .. it's really counter productive now lol around here we don't get that much race time esp with my work schedule so it would take away from the time i have to work on my goals for this season ..

My car as it sits WITHOUT tires or bags or weight red SHOULD be a mid 14 sec car already...so ya, i think track prep, traction, and drag bags will do what i want...also, i could give a **** about "ecperiance" because every car is diff and no one but 2 of us are successfully running stg 2 cams on a 2.2 right now...its a whole diff animal, itd be like me now trying to decide on an sc/s time based on their mods and pully size... you can get a general idea but until its done no one really knows and as was told to me by those riding around this weekend...the car drives diff then any other car haha, not necc better, just diff

no its not, i believe that run was a 15.2 or something like that, i have never, not once, made any pass in the 16 sec range, not even last year with the old setup

and btw maven,...you are really starting to get to the point of having to pull these accusations out of your ass, there is no proof what so ever that that would even suggest to be a 16 second run. You are attempting to discredit a proven run...I have the timeslips, Ive shown my times, you just need to accept that my car is a sub 15 sec car.

I dont even understand why we are arguing about this, its not like its some stretch to think my car can run a HIGH 14, ****, if it was a 13 i could understand the sceptism, but its barely in the 14s...for now....and this car is more then capable of that...that is not in question. you just seem to think your some big ethug that can boss people around and force your improvised set of standards on them. the rules are posted in the original post about what it takes to get on the list. Not only am I on this list but the offical 1/4 mile list as I have adheared to those rules, they were voted on by the masses of css and that is what we go by, either put up or shut up man...you have no reason to doubt unless your and my times are competing for top spot...so take your balt tot he track, run it and post some times, or shut the **** up cause you have no business arguing over the times that your not even competing for.

it doesnt, ive watched it a few times and was there, i know it doesnt say 16.x and it says 15.164 and during this run i couldnt get it into 4th gear, just didnt want to go lol, so the mph was 87.93

i have allll my slips sitting in front of me from this year and last, fastest time ever with this car is a 14.951 @ 94.65 and slowest run, last year, was a 15.832@86.70mph, i have a total of 13 runs on this car, 3 days at the strip, first day was last year and i ran 4 times, first day of this year with this setup I ran 4 times, and the last time i went (when i ran the 14.951) I got 5 runs in. If you go back to my run on 5/8/09 you will see that I was using the same racing number and that is the only number the same with this mo's times, showing that I was the one running both times and im not just using the other side of the slip and tyring to dupe you...but you wouldnt look at anything like this, of course not

next weekend we're gonna have a decent turn out at the track, including NWAE. At PIR. there will be vid's.

I have DRIVEN nwae's car. The car is quick. I'd never say FAST, because fast to me is breaking a 13.5, which is even a higher tolerance than real true blood racers would probably demand. By my guess, we should see a 14.5 out of it. Eventually after he implements the last couple mods he mentioned to me, I'm pretty confident sometime in the next few months he'll break into the 13's.

And that's on an NA 2.2 motor.

Wow I missed like a 14 hour period on here and there's 4 pages of bitching, bantering and arguing. My idea of this would be to just let the slips and vids do the talking. To much trash talking just gets old really quick. Is rivalry a good thing, yes, because it keeps up the competition. But bashing and hating seems to be a little over the top for the last 4 pages. I'm not perfect and I can be an ******* too but I try not to be when possible.
