There are no shop cars in the throwdown. The LE5 cobalt is a shop car. The LSJ and LNF cobalts are personally owned vehicles.

that doesn't make it a shop car. when a privately owned car has all parts and work doen from and at one shop. that does not make it a shop car.

so what youre saying is, even though i've owned my car since april of '08, and that i've spent a few thousand on it. done all the install myself. if i were to take it to zzp, had all those parts replaced with only zzp parts that were installed and tuned there. my car is now a shop car? no.

I guesse I'll just have to take a day off to beat you. One saturday of work for me is around $600, but it might be worth it.

That would be like me asking a Henessey 1000 Viper if he wants to race to see how quickly I can fall away from him.

Lol those numbers are Pre-85, Pre-2.6 pulley on the harrop, with just a 100 shot. I thought your sig said 230hp or something? You're not keeping up with a built 2.4 and a 150 shot. You make on a big 150 shot what I do off the bottle completely.

Idk says you're south of Pitt. That means you're less than an hour away.

if this statement held any water. my car would be considered a shop car in that sense.

i have done 99% of my own work, and usually do it in a shop on a lift or dyno. so i really don't see why zzp is being held off the list. if they sold the cars, the end user could be on this list as well.

Up til now I have done all my work in my own garage on jack stands, but in a month, a shop is taking my car in to prototype parts. Since I am not skilled in the fabrication of these parts, I can't do that, lol. Doesn't make my car a shop car IMO... I still pay for the parts.
