So close. I feel ya on the belt slip issue. Fixed mine about a month ago with the oversized tensioner pulley. No more slip!

thanks and i know for a fact the run with no slip was an 11. first two runs no meth kept blowing the vaccum line off. Im going to get a vacuum manifold to fix that issue. 3rd run 12.0 no problem last run no slip

 

My belt slips a lot with my 2.8. I just ordered a new tensioner thinking that was it. CRAP. I need that pulley. Can you post up videos?

Filled up the car today. Tested the e85 and it's finally at 85-86% E. was only about 80 before. Maybe a little more timing to come. It's going to be sweet when we hit our goals.

 

Things are looking up for me so far. My friend has a new oversized pulley I am getting from him and he has extra meth line. Should be ready to tune this Friday. I hope to hit high 12's. I've followed a lot of your threads. You definitely have 11's coming your way.

 

yea man cant wait last time it just fetl like shakedown runs and when i finally ran the 12.0 and then had the faster pass it was time to go

 

yea man i cant wait to put mine on E85 but hopefully the 109 will cut it. gonna leave the same amount of timing on the 2.6 as the 2.7 and hope for the best hoping for an 11.80

If anyone needs to get the tensioner quick you can go to a parts store and buy a GTP tensioner pulley. Same thing

jus curious wut ur goals are when u get ur build cuz we should be somwher in the same area conditions depending obviously

 

my plans after the build will be a solid 450whp on the blower with E85. Then i plan to go back to the track obviously. probably be around low 11's with that then i may throw a 50 shot on her to push her into the tens. Have already started plotting welding a cage up for her
