In stating as a general fact, just because it's sc'd doesn't make it any harder to make power, just means you are limited by the m62.. with rebuilding the motor is makes sense to upgrade to a tvs or something equally as usable.

 

your statement makes no sense. Since it takes power to make power on a blown car it will always be easier to make power on a turbo. No parasitic loss from the engine having to spin the blower. Can u use nitrous yes, and if i run low 11's i probably will to put her into the 10's but its gonna be a small shot like a 35 shot.

The whole SC vs TC crap is one of the most annoying things about this site.

We ended up with a bunch of newbs that thought they were god when the SS/TC came out.

You show them a fast SC car, and a lot of them get bent out of shape, and post useless comments.

That's why I'm glad I'm a mod now. I will make sure that crap is cut to a minimum.

Fyi, this is not towards "all" SS/TC owners, so don't get your panties in a bunch kiddies

 

CBodnar ran a 12.35 on GM Stage 2 with DRs and a 45 shot. This was like 4 years ago I believe. S2, 2.8, all cooling mods minus meth.

yes he was because i remember when i posted my 13.1@107 on the m62 and street tires on rlf after he was banned here, he couldnt believe it because i was running faster than he was and he was on a radial as well with nitrous

 

Damn that's moving, Best i could get was 13.7@107(at 3300 ft alt) in an IRL with GMS2, intake and muffler swap, progress springs and B&m shifter with DR's and mount's alittle over 4 years ago! cant wait to see this car finished!

 

yea man that was street tires no suspension and no meth a long time ago. I was the fastest lsj on the throw down list and to this day on a m62 and street tires no one has beat that record. Still have that slip too unlike cbonar lmao
