Promising results then IMO if your running low 13's. Im shooting for 275 with the M62 on a 2.8 pulley with a CNC ported head, we will see how it does, i was more concerned about how the auto would hold up and what kinda traction issues I would be looking at with the open diff, but it looks like it hasnt been that much of a problem for you.

Yes nothing changed besides a bit of driver mod. It was my first time at the strip with the turbo setup and pretty much first time attempting to launch the car lol. The slip is in the previous page. Still can do better but that night they stopped the racing for like an hour because someone spilled oil on the track. Honestly doubt that it's under 300 hp lol. I'm beating cars that are over 300 hp

How come you had issues getting an accurate pull on the dyno? Did the tuner not know to lock the trans into 3rd via hptuners? I had similar issues when I dynoed my car stock about 4 months after I bought it, it kept downshifting on the dyno and he kept telling me theres no way to lock it into 3rd.

Lol no I would never let a tuner from my area touch my car. I would lock it in 3rd in hptuners and it would keep downshifting. They started the pull at 4.2k rpms lol. After the pulls I was messing with hptuners a d figured out how to change the trans settings as to where the trans downshift points would be. I didn't feel like paying for another dyno session so I left it at that.

RSTECH in blackwood, they use a dynocom. I was convinced it was a bit high on torque but all of the honda's he ran that day seemed to put down expected numbers to other comparable dynos. I recorded the runs, was getting 4* of KR consistently throughout, but that had been going on from day 1 since I bought the car, its what ultimately led to me running a 15.9 at the track.

That's interesting, so it wouldnt respond to the request to lock in third, thats something i might run by the dev's over at hptuners see if we can get a fix for that.

Yeah I thought it was weird as well but I'm thinking it's my tcm that was not responding correctly. I've had tcm issues from time to time. I will test it out on a friend's to see if it does the same

lol its automatic, your nerves should be calm by now. I know what its like though, first couple times that rush is insane. I raced at atco for the first time ever little over 4 years ago, against a friend who did nothing but **** talk my supercharged integra at the time. Of course, I whooped his ass by about a bus length against his ford ranger lol we were the only two at the track, we red lighted a couple times after that but the first race was perfect, we both came back shaking at the end of the race we were so excited.

Youve never been to atco? On test and tune and street nights there are balts there all the time, I recorded a member on here back in 2013 with his LNF. Although I rarely ever talk to any of them, still paranoid from the honda community where wandering eyes lead to your **** being stolen.

I'm not consistent enough to be calm yet lol. Getting better though each run has been a better pass for me. Started at 13.8 then 13.6 then 13.3 then 13.2 and then 12.8. So definitely getting calmer but I still get nervous somewhat lol. I think it'll stop once I get more consistent with the launch and fin my sweet spot

I remember my first time to the dragstrip here, snuck out with my 06 aveo LOL. First time I hit the tree I was lined up against an off season full tube frame drag Camaro making test passes. Talk about having an adrenaline rush, couldn't even hear my own car!!! Clutch foot just a jumpin!

That's badass, I gotta admit I'm thankful there wasn't a photographer there that day, and it was well before best vines!
