Guys i'll be having a spare transmission here in a few weeks if we do end up getting ten i'll send my spare in so Shep can send the gears out and get it going again. And make us custom billet crush collars with the tighter preloads. So nobody would have to send their tranny out right away just send the down payment

There has been a Stage 2 blown up already for a high HP application. This is also a Shepard Trans too, one of the leading guys in the industry. Do people not know about him?

The reason why we started this list was because ZZP's though affordable, is not as strong as many make it to be. Yes, most will be just fine with ZZP's. Those with goals of 450whp+ and plan on launching at the track, this is their option.

im not here to argue with u or nething im jus stating that the s2 trans is more than enough for most ppl on here and more than capable of handling 450whp at the track..im sure 1 or 2 ppl have blew them up but that may hav jus been driver error as well everything can break new or old built or stock **** happens i broke a forged thermal coated piston..how? who the hell knows but is that to say they cant handle over x amount of hp? no **** happens..if ppl wanna save a few hundred bux its a nice alternative for them..shep is a very reputable name especially in the DSM world and i have no doubt that the trans will be very stout...jus most ppl that will buy them or want to def dont need it thats all.

540whp rated as per phone call, and same price as before no change. The more people though the cheaper.

i havnt heard of any numbers it can hold but shep is doing the samething as ZZP plus billet 3rd and 4th gear (which is a known problem in the F35) so its should be quite a bit stronger than the zzp stage 2

in all honesty they wouldnt even need to change final drive to 4.45... a 4.05 or heck even a 3.82 with billet gears should still take plenty abuse. 4.05 being a better option. if you go 4.45 all your gonna do is spin tires which equates to not going anywhere fast! if it was possible to make the tranny strengthened with billet gears and stronger internals with better fluid flow, id love to stay 3.82 final drive!

If we could get each gear set made in billet for a reasonable price, id keep my 4.05 for sure. maybe do something with 5th just to bring the rpms lower for better milage.

$1000 down once the gears are made pay the rest which is $650 then you have the choice to send your trans to shep for installation for $250. also he stated the new gear will make a whinnin noise you could have them cut to reduce noise for addition cost $30 per gear x4 gears. also if we get more than 10 people to go in on this then he woul possibly knock another $250 off
