You need to get a good rebuildable LSD trans for a core and a set of 4.45 gears to start off. So right there your looking at close to $1500 . Then you need it taken apart by somebody who knows how to do it. $200 to $300. All parts need to be cleaned and put in heavy zip lock bags so nothing gets lost. Ship it to get it cyroed $300 to $400. Then have it rebuilt by a good rebuilder. Usually $800 and up not including seals, crush sleeve etc

Saved by my $50 Harbour Freight trans jack. Took about a half hour the get it in the right position but it slid right on and had a bolt handy to hold her in. Put the frame and mounts in and hooked up the fluid line so it could gravity bleed overnight. Today Ill try to finish up if theres no rain

These transmissions arent that bad to do, I do them by hand, I dont like using a jack because this trans doesnt like sitting level because of the diff.

Gravity bleeding works for you? I'll have to try that since Vacuum bleeding and bleeding it normally doesn't work. Still has air in it...

I just let it sit there for a day then I bleed it with a bottle of Dot 3 under the car with a hose connected to the bleeder. Pump it 6 times and crack the bleeder for a second . Keep doing that about 8 times untill I have pedal. Then do the whole thing again the next day.

ah good stuff man, can't wait to see what thing can really do.
Need to get some of the other vehicles back up and running so I can do some work to the balt.
Will be definitely switching to an external oil cooler, might do cams and valve springs too.
Have to drop motor and trans out to fix some oil leaks and replace my TOB anyway.
