FINALLY an option for us f35 guys. READ!
I'm well aware. I can read. I agree with what you said, as well. But there have been plenty of others that have argued HP numbers previously in the thread, and even more that want a definitive horsepower rating on these gears, as if it will actually mean anything.
original motor lol. I put over 100k miles on it so far without really doing anything besides oil changes, still running strong.
We weren't arguing about hp numbers. I had previously stated the torque spike from the lnf stock turbos is more likely to break a transmission than say a 500whp balt. I was arguing about him breaking loose at 140mph which I do believe but think something to do with the tires or dirty roads were a contributing factor.

look in the pull, you'll see where I'm talking about. Don't mind where the pointer is, I was showing him he needs to shifter earlier lol.
and yes his maf is pegged, need to start looking into going to a large pipe to see if we can get a little more out of it.
was maxing out at @62lb min or so.
clean road, and almost full life mickeys. (this is 3rd and 4th gear pull btw)

yeah this thing is taking 27psi on the stock head gasket and bolts and everything. Head gasket failure probably from detonation imo. Really need to be 100% spot on to get these things to survive this kind of power on a stock motor.
he's running a billet 6262 also on this thing

Somewhere along the lines I lost fuel. It ended up melting the spark plug tip off on 3 and I had severe pitting in all 4 pistons so it was getting pretty bad spark knock. Maybe my hpfp went, idk.
cause lets be honest.........its hard to stay off the boost >____< its an addiction like smoking! i love my CSS to death but 2 transmissions (even tho one was my fault from launching with complete stock set up, cracked it lol) but this is horse ****! such a lame trans.
No, but non MRs with the 5 speed are good to 500+whp. Also shep can build transmissions for the evos for reasonable prices(who do we have? ZZP? Thats it...as well as our current built trans available for our cars won't support much more than 500wtq and even at levels at or around 400wtq can be ticking time bombs) and there's a few local fab/performance shops to me(within 40 miles) that fab up turbo systems for all dsms as well as tune them and have made some for customers in excess of 700whp on just pump gas and meth. Oh yeah, and not to mention DSMs can rev past 9 grand. I'm still stuck at 7400rpms and will be there for a while so it seems. The only other chevy I would get is a Z06 C5 or a base C6. The camaros are pigs and not worth my time. Great looking car but way too heavy for their size.
Not to mention as previously stated there are actual local tuners for dsms. I'm sorry but it just doesn't seem safe remote tuning a 500+whp car. As well as it seems only zzp can tune for the 5th injector system I have. To me currently, Cobalts are a lost cause after so much power and torque unless we get some real aftermarket support which currently we have none because either A. Cobalt owners are top cheap or B. It just isn't as popular as other platforms.
