This is an E-mail I just got today from John... Enjoy

It is apart and the gears dimensions have been sent to the 2 gear manufactures we work with to get pricing quotes on it. in my opinion the gears are just entirely too weak for what you are putting through them. A simple gear upgrade should be a huge strength improvement by itself.

Once we get the quotes we will have the gear pitch analyzed to see how much stronger we can make them. We may need to alter the ratios slightly.

Thanks
John

Question:

he does know that the trans you sent him, and the trans in the LNF have different ratios / probably gear strengths in them?

Excited, dunno if I would want a shorter gear tho...

Just as Omni said, the gear ratios are the same, it is the final drive that is different.

But I agree on the shorter gears thing... nooooot for me. I'm a highway roller... I like/want long gears.

I don't know which way he would go with the ratios. But 5th could stay the same I do believe.

Longer 1st gear for sure.

1st gear is all but useless in its current state. Nothing like being able to get 60 times down without going all out slicks.

I don't drag, but I TOTALLY agree first gear is way to low. It sucks for DD and it sucks autocrossing. I can't remember 1st gears top speed, but its got to be 30 or less I am guessing.

ya i like our "longer gears" too. Third is a lot of fun, especially against a 6spd car, cuz while im pulling him, he has to shift to 4th, and then its really game over hah. Im talkin to you 350z's

So, just pie in the sky dreaming here...

Say this product is ready to go and I order one...

1. would sending my tranny back as a core be necessary? before receiving new tranny? after?
2. are there possible options to request? like if my current tranny has no LSD, can I buy the new one with an LSD?
3. isn't this an ideal time to upgrade the clutch? could I send a clutch, or request one, and have it all built together?

Again, not actually requesting these things, just asking if they're feasible/possible.

Quaifes a bunch of Idiots. Their **** is way over priced and made for the the high bucks market. I dont even know why they wasted their time on the F35.
