His Trans cracked as well. There was a massive tranny/clutch failure that went down. Im not sure if he contacted Exedy but he bought a new one anyway along with a ZZP S2 Tranny.

for sure he should contact exedy. exedy replaced bolus' clutch for free. a free $1,200 clutch would help him at the moment i'm sure. lol

And if that clutch breaking caused damage to his trans, would that in turn be on Exedy?

Im sure they a disclaimer of some sort relieving them of responsibility but they should replace the clutch

He's welcome to contact them and ship the box of pieces back to them lol. We have it all saved. But he already bought a new one and ZZP S2 trans. Im sure he could sell the free one tho and recoop some of our fees

I would say exedy does have a claims department like anyone selling parts does. Only thing is he will have to prove to them it was a part failure and not a end user error. Most claims are denied if anyone wants to know the truth lol.
