alright guys. while preparing to put my TVS on i was doing some maintanence on my car. One thing i did was a trans fluid service. I have a 07 SS/SC with the F35 that i added a G85 trans to with a gmp clutch kit. I noticed on my tranny while coming to a stop or slowing with the car in gear, the gears would make a small but noticeable whinning noise on deceleration. I thought it was just my car, and didnt notice it with my old non lsd trans. Well my ex gfs car came with a G85 trans as well and i noticed her car made the same whinning noise on deceleration while still in gear. Ive since been in a few SS's and they did it as well. Well gearing up for the drag strip and slicks with a suspension setup etc, i wanted to put the best fluid in my car. I went with the GM oem SS/TC fluid. part number 88862472. Let me tell you something, whinning noise is completely gone and my gear box is now smooth as butter. This also wasnt the first trans service ive done, as i race my car quite frequently but ive always used the SS/SC stuff. I highly reccomend all the SS/SC guys change to this fluid it is well woth the cost.!!

Well worth it. I came to the conclusion that the whine was just a characteristic of the lsd trans on the sc, because before i did the swap my non lsd never made the whine. After the TC fluid shes quite as hell and really smooth. The non lsd guys i wouldnt worry about it but the g85 guys need to jump on this
