I just went back to the synchromax and it fixed my hard shifting!!!! anyone using 75w-90 needs to try synchromax!!!! BEST FLUID BY FAR OUT OF THE TWo!!!!!!!!

The stock fluid is 75w90. The Synchromax is a heavier fluid.

your wrong. I had the fluid side by side the synchromax is def. less weight than the 75w-90. my factory trans fluid was not at all close to the 75w-90 weight. trust me I have changed the fluid 4 times in the last year and the 75w-90 was the heavyer of them.

Reading through this old post I still don't know if I am going to do another round of GM tranny fluid, RP 75W90 or the Syncromax. How many Qts does the balt take for the SS/SC manual? I am around 46K miles right now and plan on changing it at 50k.

So I need some trans oil. I am going to jump on the 75w90 bandwagon. I like the odds. Can you find this stuff in any local stores or should I get it from amazon, etc?
