The orginal poster said it only fit 2.2 and 2.4 but maybe it can fit on the 2.0 too. Hopefully some one with more info on that will chime in for you.

The issue with using on the 2.0 is the reverse lockout mechanism works differently on the Cobalt then it did on the Cavi.

I have never looked at a 2.0 RLO to see what types of modifications it would take to make it work.

What the **** im fucken pissed i just got the fucken thing and theres no KNOB!!!! WTF am i suposed to do, i really dont want to go buy one. Did every one else's come with the knob?????

I got my shifer from the same seller and it had a knob. start a pay pal dispute. The desciptionsead as pictured. There was someone else who got one without a knob.

screwdriver from bottom of shifter to pry 3 tabs on the top ring thing. are you useing TWM instructions? if not here's a link http://www.twmperformance.com/manual...n%20Manual.pdf

yea i love how they just say "now reinstall the new shifter" well how **** do you do that i had to cut the stock shifter out so how the ***** do i put the new one in!!!!!??????

Cut it out you need to remove the top ring and knock the pin out of the side and the shifter will come right out.

Ok Large cup over Large shifer ball small cup on side ball side piece in white plastic piece piece from bottom of OEM shifter on bottom of STS ring holds it in new meta pin replaces pastic one you removed c-clip holds it on. reattach shifter cables bolt shifter down (order?) I think thats all?

ok i got all the cups on all the ***** but i cant get the small ball in its hole when the large ball is in its hole...........Gonna push my car off a cliff. IT SHOULDNT BE THIS ******* HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about changing my knob a when I got my shifter. I took it to a hardware store to check the thread size, it's 12x1.25. A little research told me toyota uses 12x1.25
