The orginal poster said it only fit 2.2 and 2.4 but maybe it can fit on the 2.0 too. Hopefully some one with more info on that will chime in for you.

It should fit with some modifying. Theres a how to somewere. OK I found the how to https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...hlight=shifter

The issue with using on the 2.0 is the reverse lockout mechanism works differently on the Cobalt then it did on the Cavi.

I have never looked at a 2.0 RLO to see what types of modifications it would take to make it work.

Cut it out you need to remove the top ring and knock the pin out of the side and the shifter will come right out.

I was thinking about changing my knob a when I got my shifter. I took it to a hardware store to check the thread size, it's 12x1.25. A little research told me toyota uses 12x1.25
