I don't mean to come off as rude, but I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.

no.. i was being polite.. you should explain it.. like i said .. the stock maf and TB have pushed OVER 400 WHP.. why in the world do you need something they dont use ? it really seems like your bandaid fixing alot of things man.. do it right the first time.. the maf is scalable and just about everyone that has tried the ls4 tb has said that it wasn't worth the like 5 hp it might've gained with all the issues it can create

not to mention.. changing a bunch of things at a time is really not a great way to figure out what works.. you could switch the header/ dp and tb and maf.. and not see any gains because one part doesn't work well..

and whats with your obsession with crush bent exhaust stuff

sorry, I didn't interpret it that way

- g/cyl is pegging @ 5000 rpm in the high octane table (larger maf housing will solve that)

- Most of the high hp lsjs have blow through mafs

- 5hp is 5hp I didn't have before; only problem I see it creating is a touchy throttle and pegging the maf (both of which are covered)

- It's a spare 3" downpipe I have laying around. Not going to spend $200 on a 3" straight pipe for insignificant gains

I wish the people who made the thread would get a ban button to ban idiots so that they can't post on the thread anymore.

people who have made more then 400hp were turbo not sc and you make more then just 5hp with a ls4 one guy on here showed 21hp under the curve more with an ls4 the car isent that hard to drive with it either the bottom and mid you pick is also worth it

this

throttle size is not as important on the charged air side. This is why the LNF uses a smaller TB than the LSJ as well, despite flowing greater CFMs

Alright let me waste my time and money on a dyno an hour away that reads 25-30whp higher.

So when I lean out to 12.0-12.5 afr I hit 320-330 whp.... that way you won't be dissappointed

get real

you are worrying about too many details to even get it right.

leave the stock tb on it.

change the header. your beloved "g/cyl" will drop like a rock. this will fix for need for a larger maf housing. which will **** part throttle and idle.

eh, I like the LS4 throttle body personally. But there are so many people in this thread now and I think for the most part, everyone is split down the middle.

If you just swap that header and dp, then go redyno, I think that will clear up a lot of issues with everyone on here.

Who cares if he's dissappointed. Obviously he didn't analyze anything on the dyno sheet.

I'm going to point out that this 'dyno' reads ridiculously low as in sub 200whp for our cars. He's made almost 100whp more. That's a good gain imo

couldn't get a hold of a o2 bung today...

so header install will have to wait until sometime this week.

Going to try and get a dyno in after the new year asap

for all you haters (thank Euthanasia for the temporary donation!)

I'm gonna spend 2 hours taking this damn noodle off my car; there better be a substantial gain
