when I dyno'd mine yesterday it was on the verge of going lean. I am not sure why b/c GM's tune makes you run rich.

yeah I am not sure how correct that is and or when that was read. They stuck something at the tail pipe and some thing under the hood and made the pulls.

That is for wideband readings. Its call a tail pipe sniffer.

That was to determine your RPMS. I don't know what it is called.

Can you provide proof to back that up? I have proof that proves that statement wrong.

The tailpipe sniffer on the dyno I always run on is within .1 of my the wideband on my car. And that is probably because my WB is before the cat and their sniffer is post cat.

i said not always the most accurate. i have seen them run as much as +/- .6 off which in tuning can give you bad numbers.

i have nothing against them, i actually really like having them and the shop near me is within +/- .1 but i dont have a cat. pretty much its saying make sure youre going to a good shop with good equipment

Well with your first statement you made it sound like NO sniffer can be trusted. That is not true. Some people will read that and regurgitate it to all their friends. That is how all these forum mis-truths get spread around.
