make sure your like every other turbo ***** and drive around for 3 days with no front bumper, so people can see that intercooler of yours.

....or you could be cool like me, not tell anyone, paint the I/C black, then go race random people.

I don't think you will notice the dif in heat transfer.

BTW Looks like it's coming together great. I'm still working bugs out in mine 1 month after I've been driving it.

It's been proven that it does not make any difference what color the intercooler is painted as long as the fins do not get clogged up. Even one of the car magazines did a test on it. I have been running the SRT-4 intercooler I painted black on my integra for quite some time and it's always cold on the other side were it needs to be!

ic, than i might go ahead and do that, will see what it looks like regular color though first, dont wanna paint it and regret it later on

theres that, got soem of it done, the paint still needs a bit more to be perfect, the grill is on there pretty damn good, i will need to do some filing where the factory bar thigs were at, they left holes where i cut them off

Looking good! I was hoping you were going to open that area up for the intercooler.

i might consider making it bigger, but dam cuttin that plastic bumber is hard work, i could barely grind off the edges from the bars, i ended up giving up and leaving some, plus i think the Ic fit ok n that whole, its not that big, it only 6.5" tall, 28" long if you go from inlet to outlet, if i see t needs to be bigger i will use my cutting wheel instead

i can make a intercooler that big work, will make a pretty hefty drop in pressure, but i can make it work, take out the impact bar, and bolt on some IC brackets instead, but that is way to extreme for me
