Check vacuum connections. Also check the bypass and try lubing the bypass rod (i had irregular boost, lubed and it smoothed out)

Very likely that it has something to do with your bypass valve, whether it just be that rod or something is messed up inside of it

Its an 06 cobalt, stage 2 setup but was doing it in stock form. Intermintent issue here. Has an Injen intake, catless downpipe, 2.9" pulley, 1 degree colder plugs. The CEL comes on but goes off randomly. I see no issue in datastream. Codes it triggers are P0101 & P1182.

Not sure how the bypass works on these cars as far as how they react but if you rev car up from idle, the bypass rod pulls in but then instantly shoots the rod all the way out until car come back to idle then it pulls rod back in. Under load driving, the car maintains 3psi and triggers a CEL. Any ideas to check out?

The bypass will be open during idle or any high vacuum time, when you get on the gas it creates a load on the engine which will cause vacuum to drop. The bypass want to be closed via the spring that's inside. You could pull the vacuum line off the bypass and plug it to see what you run then.

Also what are the codes??
