Laloosh (Chris?), I think you are missing one key point that does make a difference...you are comparing 2 different power adders as well. A turbo will have to build boost between shifts (spool), where as a roots style supercharger can stay in boost much easier (there will be a boost drop between shifts, but not as drastic and the recovery to full boost is much quicker, almost instant), since it is belt driven. That factor has to be considered when talking about shifting in the 1/4. It will make a difference.
