the noise that folks get is the dead coils. You have two ways of fixing it. we supply at no charge the flex spiral wrap, or you can try the Lloyd's undercoating spray I am using up here. Lloyds is a canadian company locak to me that have been producing various chemicals and oils since 1919 or so. The solvents in their undercoating wont attack rubber and rubber compounds which is important for spring seats and stuff like that,

No one who has used either the spiral wrap or the spray has complained to me afterwards, so I have to figure thats a good solution.

so far I have yet to replace a single spring under warranty btw

I used hard plastic tubing from the hardware store and glued/zip tied them in place 1 1/2 years ago and they are still on. Cost me all of $5. You don't always have to rely on john to figure it out.

Hey john, just wondering has Gloria been pretty busy of late? I don't want to keep emailing her if she's on holidays or something just curious when she is back in the office. I was looking for a quote.

As I explained a few posts back, my rear springs were orientated differently in the spring seats, and I was getting a clunk sound, even with spring silencers. Once I fixed the orientation, all clunking is gone. It is worth a shot for people to verify that their springs are sitting in the seats properly, as well as adding silencers.

John, I did some research online about Mann+Hummel Pro-Vent 100 that you using and that Pro-Vent 100 support only 135 hp engine. I looked at Pro-Vent 200 and this 1 support 340 hp engine. I noticed most cars using Pro-Vent 200 than Pro-Vent 100...I don't know why ? But I just found that out and that's what they are advertised.

^^^^^^ this, and diesles have no vacuum. I didnt chose the seperator on a whim. The engineers I worked with agreed it was the most suotiable based on displacement not horsepower. And so far it has proven to work very well.
6 litre v 8 s as Lingenfelter use the 200 but I have a c5 which had a massive problem with the PCV and the 100 fixed it perfectly. A traack car with an LS6 and a cam, normally aspirated.

i also think it is important that you do not go to the bigger size unless you really need it because it hurts the performance of the separator as it would have a hard time shedding the oil with the increased size unless there was adequate flow going through it
