I have in my possession an 07 ss 2.4l 4 speed auto with a rotted out frame, my goal is to take out anything and everything I can and put it in another 2dr shell, my question is what are my limitations on options?

My intuition tells me as long as I take all of the electronics and wiring along with my motor and trans I won’t have any issues unless my roller was from a manual? I suppose this is the main yes or no answer I’m looking for.

 

If you grab a 2 door shell with the same ECU plugs it would be an easy swap. You can pull your 2.4L and leave the engine wiring harness all attached and just unplug from the firewall. These engines are basically the same other than a couple small differences. If you get a VVT 2.2L shell with the same ECU plugs you should be good to go.
