I had no issues with my Injen in the rain when I had it installed.
If u read through the whole thread, u will see that riceburner had a hole rubbed through the pipe. That's what was causing his issues (unmetered air).
The Injen is on my LSJ and it has trouble in the rain. I think it's the roads in Maryland though. They retain to much water. Did fine in 3 days of rain in Georgia. 2 hours in Maryland it missfires like crazy like riceburners.

People. Riceburner had a hole in his intake. Rain was not his problem. He thought it was in the beginning.
Do u have a hydroshield on your filter?
Also, what filter came on your Injen? The newer amsoil filter or the old K&N style?

not always true. i dont have a hole in my intake, yet i get this every time it rains. even the old car was the same. so either i have some underlining issue, or in my thoughts the maf is too close to the filter. it really dont matter as long as one uses caution when it rains and and dont go stomping the gas. you should be ok. if you do have a hole in your intake then maybe buy a new one or repair the one you already have. buy a new filter, and maf every so often helps too.

I said rain was not riceburners problem. All the new posts in here are people still thinking that was the issue.
I'm clarifying it.
I still dont understand how people have issues. I tested many different intakes on my car, and had no rain issues with any of them. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe my car isnt picky, but I never had a problem.
Always ran a hydroshield, and always made sure the intake was installed perfectly.
