Sad Goodbye

Today I have depressing news. I will be turning my Cobalt in after the end of my lease. i couldnt get financing as my credit is ****.

i will be devastated when i finally have to say goodbye.

i will take some pictures before i say goodbye forever.

She has 273 hp to the wheels. heated seats, custom headlights, and enough of my blood in here and on her to be a relative.

This car was me in mechanical form.

Quirky, dificult to mod but reacts very well once the mods are made and about the best bang for the buck possible.

She will be missed.

Goodbye to you all.

How did you lease it in the first place if your credit is ****? I'm suprised your good enough to lease but not to buy it out at the end. I figured GM would jump at the chance not to take a leased car back.

If you don't part it out, be prepared to pay out the ass in "restoration fees".

bye bye

i have only a CAI to take off the car.

i still have all stock parts i am going to discuss with the lease guy what the potential charges will be and may have to turn it in at a later date.

i got a lease 3 years ago when i had good credit now my credit isnt as good. moving from Michigan to Georgia ate up alot of my money.

if they attempt to **** me i am all for basically giving away what i have in it.

when i leased the car i had every intention of buying at the end of the lease. i leased at the time as i was in college and this saved around $300 dollars in payments i couldnt have been able to pay then or now.

i modded as i was planning on buying.

hope that anwered all the questions...........

Yeah I was actually going to post that yesterday, when people were asking why you put mods on your car even though you are leasing it.

I was going to say that you probably had intentions of buying it outright after the lease expired. I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to in fact buy it.

I'm leasing my 06 SS/SC as well. I did a 39month lease. When I first got the car I was very tempted in putting mods on it & then buying it after the lease was up. According to my GMAC contract the car would go for 12g's after the lease. But for some reason I just figured I'd mod the car after if I did in fact want to buy it. My car goes back in like 8 months and I've kept it completely stock since I've had it. I plan on purchasing a SS/TC after the lease expires and then doing mods to the SS/TC...

Good luck with everything. Did you try applying for a car loan through a bank or GMAC?
