What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
A TVS is a possibilty in my future, but you do not need a built turbo to get these numbers. I have worked on cars and been hot rodding for close to 40 years. I spent half my life as a professional mechanic. I built to show what can be done.
I think what is misunderstood here is that my car is not a simple stage 2 LSJ. It is custom tuned by ZZp and has everything stage 3 except for the smaller pulley. It has full 3" exhaust, header, large capacity zzp innercooler, stock inner cooler, 2 pass inner cooler end plate, option B reservoir, cold air intake, mass air flow sensor, and again everything for a stage 3 except for the pulley(running gm stage 2 pulley).
The correction factor for this is absolutely correct and the guy who did my dyno (Kevin Murray at MCE racing) is the guy who actually designed they dyno for the company. SO I think he knows what he is doing. That is why he put a 5% load, yes with no load you get a 241hp. But what people do not know is that if you do not put a load on the dyno with a supercharger or a turbo they will not kick in and you will not get full use of them and an accurate dyno read. What the load does is simulate the force and weight of the car that you would get actually driving the car.
I would be willing to bet that if some of you went down and got another dyno run and asked them to put a 5% load, you would find that your numbers are different. We actually ran or car on 2 different dynos , one without a brake, and one with a brake to get the load needed. But if you still think my numbers are wrong, we will see in 2 weeks when I redyno my car with the gm stage 2 computer(stock tune) installed to see the difference in a custom tune, we will show agin load vs no load and then a few weeks after that I will install the 2.8" pulley and the 60 pound injectors and the updated zzp tune.
If anyone wants to try theirs out, Kevin Murray from MCE racing is down at the Savemart 300 in California this weekend and has the mobile dyno with him. And I can guarantee that if he knows how to do accurate dyno for Nascar, that he knows how to do a streetcar. Sorry for all of you that got incorrect numbers by not putting the brakes on the dyno drum(load) to get an accurate read.
What would be really nice is to get a bunch of us together somewhere day to all get tested on his mobile dyno.
Here are a couple of links about the guy and his dyno for those of you that are still question his capabilities and the accuracy of this dyno run.... MCE Racing - Dyno testing, performance tuning, & repair ..... Dynojet Dynamometer

Ya I'm going to go for round two next weekend... I just got discouraged when the bolt stripped, the other one looked all fucked, lol. I started too late in the day yesterday, and today was a write off because of baseball. I've got a spin saw that I'm going to get blades for and just cut the stupid things off!
I saw euthanasia made an adapter plate but it was for the MP90, not the M90. He also screwed a lot of people. If it were feasible I would absolutely slap an M90 on my car. They're cheap here.
Look into it I just think I read ppl saying the m62 is weak get a m90 or tvs. The m90 was cheaper but the tvs had a little edge on m90 but meth fixed that. I never got past research i was about to pull the trigger but got the TC and it was like over 3 years ago haha

Mabe this will help I think they talk about the m90 being hookup in this thread as well as the mp90 obviously haha

Did my own slow passenger window fix today. I clocked the passenger window at 16 seconds to roll up. That was the fastest time. Slowest as more like 20-25 seconds. Now it takes 3 or 4 seconds.

Yep! And I only blew the power window fuse once not paying attention!
Mine used to be that way but has gotten progressively worse over the past few months.

Thanks for everyone's input on our dyno numbers. After a half dozen emails to a couple of different companies, including dynojet, I had the information necessary to contact the guy who dyno tested our car. When I asked him for his calibration files, all of a sudden he doesn't know how to email them. Now he tells me his load calibration may not have been accurate. It is really frustrating to have been told one thing by a guy and now when you present him with what you have learned he tells you that he doubts his own numbers, I think it is because I told him that dynojet was going to examine his files. It is really frustrating to have someone guarantee their results when you are handing them money and then back out of that certainty later. I am finding that is a common practice up here in far Northern California. I hope to have accurate readings the next time I get my car dyno tested with my smaller pulley and new ZZPerformance tune. I have to give a big thanks to Turbo Tim at ZZperformance and the tech guys at Dynojet for helping me bring this situation to light.
Got a refund on my bogus MCE racing dyno tune, I asked for his calibration and dyno files. He says he doesn;t know how to send them and then confesses he thinks he calibrated the load wrong and skewed then numbers, So i opted for a refund and then prepped my car or its 3.8: pulley and 60# injectors and new computer. I can't wait to get it finished.
Any recommendations of where to get a good dyno tune in far Norther California?

You need an MP90 with custom adapters to work.
TVS or Turbo.
